How Alora's advice is created

Where the coaching comes from, how the AI is built and supervised, and what it is and isn't. We'd rather be clear than clever.

The philosophy behind every answer

Alora's coaching isn't generic advice pulled from the internet. It's built on the specific philosophy that relationship coach Maureen Evelyn has coached from for years. That philosophy is consistent and opinionated on purpose. A few of its core convictions:

This is why two women can ask Alora the same question and both get answers that sound like the same coach: because underneath, it is.

How the AI coach is built

Inside the app, Maureen is an AI coach. Her philosophy, voice, and the way she reads a situation are encoded into the system so the guidance stays true to how Maureen Evelyn actually coaches, rather than drifting into generic chatbot advice. Maureen also remembers your story between conversations, so her advice gets more specific to your situation the more you share.

How advice is supervised and kept safe

Because relationship advice touches real, tender parts of people's lives, we build in guardrails:

What Alora is not

We're direct about the limits, because trust matters more than hype:

If you're in crisis or unsafe: Alora is not an emergency service. If you're in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. If a relationship involves abuse or control, please reach out to a licensed professional or a domestic-support line in your country.

How we write these guides

The articles on this site are written to reflect Maureen Evelyn's coaching philosophy, in plain language, and are reviewed for accuracy and tone. We don't invent statistics or cite research we haven't verified. When we don't know something, we say so. Every guide shows when it was last updated, and we revisit our cornerstone pages over time.

Experience the coaching for yourself

The philosophy on this page becomes a real conversation the moment you open the app.
